What are the payment terms for workshops at Sewology?
Workshops require payment in full at the time of booking.
What is the refund policy for workshops at Sewology?
Cancellations with two months notice will receive a 100% refund, while cancellations with one month's notice will receive a 50% refund. Unfortunately, no refunds are available within one month of the start date.
What happens if Sewology needs to cancel a workshop?
In the unlikely event that this occurs, you may be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

What is the class size at a Sewology workshop?
A: Our workshops offer several unique benefits. We provide a small class size of up to 6 people so we can offer all the help you need. There are also free handouts where appropriate.
Are there any discounts available for workshop sessions?
Yes, we offer a 10% discount in our store when you attend a workshop session at Sewology.
Are there any tools available for use during a workshop?
Yes, we provide free use of our sewing machines and overlockers, as well as pressing tools available when needed.

Access to the sewing studio
Please note that due to the age of the building, regrettably we do not have suitable access for some people with disabilities or mobility issues. Access is through the shop. The teaching studio is up a flight of stairs on the first floor.
Your sewing machine & kit
Please be aware that you must be able to carry your sewing machine and equipment up a flight of stairs to our sewing studio. We are unable to demonstrate individual machines so we do have sewing machines here for you to use if preferred..
