This event is non-residential. We have highlighted three options for accommodation above. These have previously been popular with workshop attendees.

What to Expect…

Ahead of you is a full three days of sewing in beautiful surroundings with lunch and refreshments included! There will be plenty of time to work on the project of your own choice. Maybe you are already working on something and just need a little time, encouragement, and help? Or perhaps you have a new project in mind and need a hand getting started? You will have your own worktable and access to our overlockers etc. Whatever you choose to work on, you will be able to go at your own pace and just enjoy the buzz of a fun sewing bee..!

Over the weekend you will be able to make new friends with like-minded sewers. Check out what others are working on and pick up ideas from each other.

Barry, our tutor, will be on-hand to help and share some of his tips and tricks to help you along. With over 40 years’ experience, this is an opportunity not to be missed! He will also be providing some group demonstrations.

What to bring…

Please bring along everything you may need for your project. Pattern/Fabric/Sewing Kit/Sewing Machine etc.

We will have overlockers, ironing boards, irons, pressing hams and clappers available for use when needed.

We will have our shop available for you to purchase various haberdashery items (machine needles, threads, pins etc) and a selection of interfacings.

Quality time to make new friends and explore your creativity. To help maintain the atmosphere and structure of the retreat, we ask that partners and non-participating guests not attend daytime sessions during the event. The schedule, shared spaces, and activities are designed specifically for registered participants. Keeping it just to registered attendees helps us keep things simple and focused for everyone to enjoy the group experience.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Deposit payable on booking - £50 - Non-refundable (option to settle in full if you wish)

We send out payment links at the end of January, February and March.

Just let us know if you prefer to pay in full so we can send you a payment link for the full amount.

Second Payment Due Mid January 2027 - £95

Third Payment Due Mid February 2027 - £95

Final Payment Due Mid March 2027 - £95

We will send you a reminder and payment link when due.

Sorry, we are unable to refund the deposit under any circumstances.

If you are booking after the above dates – back payments will need to be made at time of booking to secure your place*.

If you are booking after Mid March 2027 – Full payment is required to secure your place*.

*Just pay the deposit to book, and we will send payment links for any back payments that are due.

 

Cancellations and Refunds:

If you change your mind after booking, up to End January 2027 – we will refund payments made (minus the deposit).

If you need to cancel after End January 2027 – we will do our best to offer your place to another person. If this is not possible, we regret that we will be unable to offer any refund.

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel you will, of course, receive a full refund.

It is advisable to consider obtaining travel insurance to protect against any unforeseen circumstances that may impact your booking.
